At VINCI Facilities Building Solutions, we deliver fire safety and remediation works to local authorities and housing providers across the UK. The diverse works include fire door sets, compartmentation, fire stopping Class ‘0’ decorations, sprinklers, heat and smoke detection, alarms, and signage. We are also experts in the removal and reinstallation of external cladding solutions.
Our teams and supply chain offer technical excellence by always ensuring work is delivered to the latest technical standards and client requirements (Class A2 or better, BR 135, BS 8414, EN 13501, EWS1). We are closely monitoring the outputs from the Grenfell inquiry, the draft Building Safety Bill, and imminent changes to building regulations. All works are delivered by specialist supply chain partners who can demonstrate the appropriate experience and accreditations, for example the Association of Specialist Fire Protection, British Approvals for Fire Equipment, British Board of Agreement, Fire Accreditation Scheme, and BM TRADA Q Mark (EN 45011).
We recently conducted fire safety works at the Whitecross Estate in Islington for our client Peabody. The project saw us remove flammable External Wall Insulation (EWI) from two 13-storey tower blocks and replace it with a modern, fire-rated, thermally efficient, and aesthetically pleasing EWI solution.
